Gregory Noble, 55, was taken into custody on Thursday by Dallas police after allegedly attempting multiple carjackings, causing a multi-vehicle crash and fleeing in his seventh stolen vehicle of the day.

Before Coppell police responded to a stolen vehicle that had been wrecked, Noble had attempted to rob a bank in the 14800 block of Preston Road in Dallas and stolen five vehicles at gunpoint.
In the 9900 block of Webb Chapel Road in Dallas, Noble shot a gun in the air before taking a victim’s keys and fleeing the location. Noble drove his fifth stolen car from Farmers Branch into Coppell, where he crashed and then attempted to steal the vehicle he had crashed into, unsuccessfully.
The Coppell Police Department responded to a call at 5:40 p.m. on Thursday that someone demanded the keys to the vehicle of a person parked in the 100 block of State Highway 121.
When the suspect was unable to take the car, he allegedly took another vehicle to flee the scene and caused a multi-vehicle accident.
After leaving the accident and the vehicle, the suspect attempted to take another vehicle, this time in the 600 block of North Denton Tap Road, about half a mile away from the first attempt.
Noble ran from the scene, stole a sixth vehicle and fled to Irving, where he stole a seventh vehicle. Dallas PD located him when he fled from a traffic stop and camped out at the intersection of Singleton Blvd. and Gulden Lane.
After refusing to exit the vehicle, the Dallas SWAT team assisted in taking Noble into custody.
Dallas PD worked with the FBI Dallas’ Violent Crime Task Force and the Dallas ISD, Farmers Branch, Coppell and Irving Police Departments to locate and arrest Noble for at least 14 violent felonies committed on March 20.
Noble is charged with aggravated robbery, unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading arrest, according to Dallas PD, with other charges coming from the FBI and other law enforcement agencies. He was booked into Dallas County Jail on Friday at 2:55 a.m. and is being held on a total bond of $75,000.
The investigation is still ongoing and anybody with information should contact Corporal D. Stanford with the CPD Criminal Investigations Division at 972-304-3603 or dstanford@coppelltx.gov.
