Lewisville police seeking help with cold case murder

The Lewisville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a cold case, the April 2020 murder of Stanford Bledsoe.

On April 20, 2020, Bledsoe was working the overnight shift at 7-Eleven, 900 Valley Ridge Blvd., when he was attacked by two unknown assailants, according to Lewisville police. Despite his efforts to escape, he was fatally shot near the gas pumps. Security footage captured images of the suspects, one wearing a black hoodie with a distinctive “Blowin’ My Top” SpongeBob SquarePants logo on the back.

“Your information could be crucial in bringing justice to the victims and their families,” LPD said.
