Adrianna Claire Mogollon, who had a special zest for life, travel and the people close to her, died Oct. 25 after defying all odds and living with aggressive cancer for nearly 10 years. She was 31.
She lived in several places, making lifelong friends and connections: Flower Mound, Tahoe, Reno, Hawaii. She loved nature and appreciated any activity outdoors in any of these places. She loved to snowboard, treasured many nights on the beach in Hawaii, and felt comfort and connection on her favorite hiking trails in Nevada.
Adrianna maintained more deep friendships than any normal person can expect to experience in a lifetime. To everyone, Adrianna was a listening ear and a kind heart who just wanted the best for those around her. You’re checking in on her and her condition? She let you know she would rather hear about what you’re up to. She’s good, though.
She was a graduate of Marcus High School and the University of Nevada Reno. She was also an excellent role model for all of the children in her life who she loved, from her favorite two nephews to the young ones she nannied.
Adrianna is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Briana and Josh Christie, brother and sister-in-law Andrew Mogollon and Ravin Ricord, her nephews Cassius and Cannon, and her father and stepmom Louis and Gaby Mogollon.
Family and friends are planning a celebration of life in spring 2024. In the meantime, be grateful you can do her favorite, yet simple, things: get a manicure, go to Target, and take a long hot shower before bed.
