A grass fire caused local officials to shut down the southbound lanes of I-35W in Argyle during the Tuesday evening rush hour.
The Argyle Police Department said on social media at 4:45 p.m. that the interstate was shut down just south of FM 407 and drivers should expect long delays and avoid the area.
Update. Roadway is open. However there is still a long delay. The back up is about 5-6 miles. Side streets are getting heavt traffic also. https://t.co/rdvB8sFGg1
