Man injured in rollover crash in Argyle

FM 407 was shut down late Wednesday afternoon in Argyle after a rollover car crash that injured one person.

The crash was reported a little after 4 p.m. just west of Hwy 377. Argyle Interim Police Chief Dan Busken said the driver — a man about 25 years old — was headed east when he entered a ditch on the south side of the road and the vehicle rolled over. The man was injured and transported by air ambulance to a Denton hospital.

No one else was in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved. The crash caused some property damage and struck a utility pole, Busken said. CoServ’s website said at 5 p.m. that an outage at that location was affecting about 40 customers.

The road was re-opened after about an hour.
