Keep Flower Mound Beautiful’s Spring Trash Off & Festival has been re-scheduled.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, the annual event has been postponed two weeks because of severe weather in the forecast, according to a news release from the town of Flower Mound on Thursday. The event will take place on April 27 in the Flower Mound High School parking lot, 3411 Peters Colony Road.

The community cleanup will take place from 8:30-11 a.m., with giveaways for the first 300 volunteers to register and a free lunch, according to the news release. The spring festival kicks off at 10 a.m. and will feature a Native Plant Society of Texas plant sale, various recycling stations (electronics, batteries, printer cartridges, and more), Shred-It document shredding (proof of Flower Mound residency required), kids activities and more. Recycle2Support will also be collecting gently used houseware items, textiles and clothing donations.

To register for the community cleanup, visit the KFMB website.
