Bartonville postpones Spring Clean Up Day

UPDATE: Due to weather, Bartonville has  decided to postpone its Spring Clean-Up.

Bartonville’s Annual Spring Clean Up will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 8 a.m. – noon at the Lantana Community Church, 2200 East Jeter Road.

The annual event, one of the town’s most popular, gives residents the opportunity to donate unneeded items, recycle electronics and tires, dispose of general trash and dispose of hazardous waste (by appointment only, click here to register).

Unlike previous years, tree chipping services won’t be provided because of limited space, according to a news release from the town of Bartonville. However, during the event, the town can collect branches and limbs and haul them to the new Living Earth Green Waste Disposal facility located near FM 1171 and Hwy 377. The maximum diameter for three limbs and trunks (stumps) is 18 inches and the maximum length is 8 feet.
