Twelve Denton ISD students — including several from Guyer High School — and some directors have been selected for the All-State Bands, Choirs and Orchestra.
The musicians have advanced through multiple rounds of auditions from September through January to be selected as Texas Music Educators Association All-State Musicians, according to a Denton ISD news release. The students will travel to the TMEA State Clinic and Convention in San Antonio from Feb. 14-18 to rehearse with the state’s top musicians and perform in the Texas All-State Bands, Choirs, and Orchestras.
