It’s the Christmas shopping season again, which again means Grinches are targeting packages left on front porches all over the country and in southern Denton County. The Highland Village Police Department said Friday that there have been several package thefts recently in the Castlewood area, close to Copper Canyon.
The department shared on social media an article by CNET with seven tips for avoiding being a victim of package theft, which include signing up for delivery alerts, having packages delivered to your office, or investing in security cameras or a BoxLock smart padlock.
