Old Bartonville Store tagged with ‘free art’

Bartonville police shared this photo of graffiti that was sprayed onto the old Bartonville Store over the weekend.

The old Bartonville Store was recently tagged with some “free art,” according to the Bartonville Police Department.

The department posted on social media Tuesday that sometime between 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday, unknown suspect(s) sprayed some graffiti on the old Bartonville Store, located in the northwest corner of Jeter Road East and McMakin Road.

A local resident painted over the graffiti, according to Bartonville police.

“Please report any suspicious activity to the Bartonville Police Department,” the department requested.
