The Argyle Town Council approved unanimously an addition to Argyle High School during its meeting Tuesday night.
Argyle ISD requested a site plan amendment for an 18,000-square-foot, two-story addition of 12 classrooms to the southeast portion of the school. The addition will be constructed with exterior materials to match the rest of the school. The project is expected to begin construction soon after obtaining a building permit.
Planning & Zoning commissioners had voted unanimously to approve the amendment in early February.
