The new Tanger Outlets mall near Texas Motor Speedway is preparing for its grand opening this weekend.

All stores in the mall open at 9 a.m. Friday, followed by a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting event with Steven B. Tanger — the CEO of Tanger Factory Outlet Centers — Jonathan and Drew Scott — of the HGTV show Property Brothers — and state and local officials.

The Scott brothers will also host a design workshop at noon Friday, which will be followed by a meet-and-greet.

There will be a fireworks show at 9 p.m. Saturday, as well as other family-friendly activities all weekend long, including a vintage photo booth, carnival games, food trucks and free rides on the Tanger ferris wheel.

The new outlet center at I-35W and State Highway 114 is expected to be about 93 percent leased by grand opening, according to a news release, and will feature more than 75 upscale brand name and designer outlet retailers including H&M, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Children’s Place, Nike, Levi’s, Banana Republic, Express, Guess, Restoration Hardware and more.

The opening of Tanger Outlets Fort Worth is expected to create more than 900 full and part time jobs and is estimated to generate more than $10 Million in additional state and local sales tax revenue.
