Raise your hand if a great cup of coffee is just what you could use right now. We’re sitting here watching the snow fall at our office and are dreaming of warm drinks inside the even warmer atmosphere of Trio Craft Coffee.
Located just across the parking lot from our office, Trio Craft Coffee is one of our favorite places to stop in for a warm drink or a tasty pastry.
Owners Carlos and Susan Palacio opened the coffee shop to accomplish their mission of serving their community and introducing people to the best coffee products they can deliver.
Carlos is a native of Mexico City and lived in Columbia before moving here to the United States, so he has a truly unique and refined taste and knowledge for coffee. Which is why they choose to use coffee beans from local roasters, Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters and Novel Coffee Roasters.
They also release unique seasonal flavors so that customers always have something new and exciting to try. For example, their current winter specials include a Bourbon Maple Latte (which is guaranteed to warm you up) and their Mocha Mint made with speciality dark chocolate and peppermint.
I personally loved when Rogue One was released in theaters, and Trio started serving Novel Coffee Roasters Rogue Espresso. It’s fun to see a coffee shop having fun with their menu!
In addition to their incredible coffee drinks, Trio also serves a fantastic array of pastries which are delivered fresh from Zenzero Bakery in Coppell (another Foodie Friday favorite) and gluten-free Pinch of Salt Pastries. Or if you want something a little more substantial, they’ve also created some magically delicious hot sandwiches.
If you’ve never stopped into this beloved local coffee shop before, this cold weather is the perfect time to stop in and give it a try. And since you’ll just be right across from the parking lot from us, why not come say hello?
