• The Highland Village Rotary Club meets at 5 p.m. at The Grotto.

• Throw Back Thursday Denton Films: When We Were All Broncos is being shown at 6:30 p.m. at the Emily Fowler Library, 502 Oakland St., Denton.

• We’re looking at 102 degree temps today between 4-6 p.m. You might want to take a bottle of water with you … everywhere.

• The Denton County Farmers Market is happening now, and will be open until the vendors sell out. It’s at the corner of Mulberry Street and Carroll Boulevard in Denton.
