Here’s an update on the Lewisville homicide that happened Thursday afternoon:
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old, Jarrod Dewayne Black of Lewisville. It appears that Black had a criminal history including two drug arrests in the Denton area.
Detectives with the Lewisville police are continuing their investigation and pursue leads.
Detectives do not have a suspect at this time and the motive remains unclear.
