5 things to know: July 20

Happy Monday Everyone! Here are five things to know today:

• ROADWORK: Construction on Country Club Road in Argyle will begin on August 3 and last until about February 1, 2017.

• MARCUS: Students, your Skyward schedule isn’t final yet, so check back once everything is updated.

• COUNCIL: There’s a Flower Mound Town Council meeting at 5 p.m. regarding boards and commissions. The regular meeting starts at 6 p.m.

• FEMA: A Texas/FEMA Disaster Recovery Center opens at noon. It’s planned to help victims of flooding from May 4 to June 19 this year.

• WEATHER: We’re expecting another whopper of a day weather-wise with a high of 99 degrees. The heat index will spike to about 103, NOAA says.
