Lewisville Lake nearing its 100-year floodplain

With heavy rain in the forecast this weekend, Denton County officials are keeping a close eye on Lewisville Lake levels as they inch up with each storm.

Sitting at 534.87 feet, almost 13 feet above what is considered full, Lewisville Lake’s potential flooding has become an issue officials discuss daily.
