Flower Mound residents can expect to see three new police vehicles hit the streets by spring 2015.
Current traffic patrol vehicles were due for an upgrade because of mileage and increased maintenance needs.
The department’s Traffic Unit selected Ford Interceptors’ to join the fleet.
Officers spend 8-10 hours in patrol cars each day and will appreciate the Interceptors’ larger interior, added room for equipment, and fuel efficiency.
