TAPPS Cross Country and Track State Champion, Laina Ewoldt, signed a letter of intent to run for Kansas State next fall.
Ewoldt, a senior at Coram Deo Academy in Flower Mound, topped her competitors at the 2013 TAPPS State Cross Country Meet, posting the fastest time of all runners in all divisions.
In 2013 and 2014 Track and Field, Ewoldt took top honors at the State Meet in the 800M and 1600M runs, setting a new meet record in the 1600M.
Ewoldt, a resident of Highland Village, is also an exemplary student, attaining the distinction of Summa Cum Laude (98+) grade point average her sophomore and junior years at Coram Deo Academy.
