The Eagles needed only five innings to put away Paris North Lamar on Thursday night in Game 1 of the Class 3A Region II finals at McKinney Boyd High School.
Argyle’s bats racked up 15 runs on the board compared to just 3 by North Lamar.
Cutter McDonald and Parker Mushinski each homered in the game. McDonald had a total of six RBI’s. Brandon Boyzuick and Tyler Gibson had two RBI’s each.
The Eagles lead the series 1-0 and have a chance to earn their first trip to the state tournament in Austin with a Game 2 win tonight at 8 p.m. at North Lamar High School in Paris.
