Marcus 5, Midland 1
The Marauders opened their three game regional finals series on Friday night with a 5-1 win over Midland.
Jack Cushing pitched the Marauders to a victory, and Jack Bogosian and Brendan Venter both doubled in the game for Marcus.
Marcus and Midland will play game two on Saturday at noon at Concordia University.
Southlake Carroll 4, Flower Mound 2
The Carroll baseball team rallied from a 1-0 deficit on Friday night to tie their series up with Flower Mound.
Noah Hill doubled in the game and Sean Wymer homered for Flower Mound.
Flower Mound and Southlake will play the deciding game three at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Dallas Baptist University.
Texarkana Pleasant Grove 1, Argyle 0
Pleasant Grove evened up its series against Argyle on Friday night with a 1-0 victory in the fourth round of the post season.
The Eagles picked up just five hits in the game. Argyle’s Parker Mushinski struck out 10 batters.
Argyle and Pleasant Grove will play the rubber match at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Northeast Community College.
