The Voices Of Flower Mound, directed by Mary McGuyer, presented its Christmas concert, “Everywhere Christmas Tonight”, Friday night at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church in Flower Mound.
Joining the chorus in the concert were the Jr. Voices Of Flower Mound and the Bells Of Trietsch, directed by Tanya Allen.
Flutist Jan Oliphant and Cellist Tina Brown accompanied the chorus for several selections. A piano solo, Claire de Lune, was beautifully played by Sonia Shin, accompanist for the Voices Of Flower Mound.
Following intermission, Flower Mound Mayor Mellissa Northern thanked the audience for supporting the arts in Flower Mound.
The Voices Of Flower Mound is a non-audition community chorus open to anyone who enjoys music. New members are always welcome. Rehearsals are held Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the choir room at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church. The Jr. Voices (ages 7-11) rehearse from 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. at Trietsch.
