The Denton County Courthouse will be undergoing remodeling beginning in late March or early April.
Different areas of the County Clerk’s Office will be affected at different times. Phase one will begin with the Mental Health Department and the Law Library and is anticipated to take 90 days to complete, according to a spokesperson with the county.
In an effort to continue service, the Mental Health clerks will be temporarily relocated to suite 2441. The Mental Health Court will proceed with their regular schedule outside of the relocation.
The Law Library will be closed for a large portion of the remodel and the print media collection will be in storage. Librarians will be available to assist with online searches in suite 2442. There will be no access to the print media during the construction.
