Congressman Michael Burgess, R-Lewisville, has scheduled a town hall meeting for this Saturday, February 27, at 10:00 a.m., at Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club.
Topics scheduled to be covered include health care reform, taxes and spending, energy legislation, and other current issues.
Those interested are encouraged to attend and bring questions for Congressman Burgess to answer.
“I’ll be there to discuss issues currently before the United States Congress, and to hear from you on the issues that are important to you, your family, and our community,” said Congressman Burgess.
Congressman Burgess is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and three of its subcommittees: Health, Energy & Environment, and Oversight & Investigations. He is also a member of the bipartisan, bicameral Joint Economic Committee. Prior to becoming a member of Congress in 2002, Congressman Burgess practiced medicine in North Texas for over 25 years.
