The creative works of the young artists of Blanton Elementary School in Lantana will be featured at a children’s art show on Tuesday, February 16, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the school’s Cafetorium.
The works of art were created under the guidance of Travis Williams, Art Instructor at the school. The exhibit was organized in conjunction with the art curriculum, and is an integral part of the school’s efforts to promote the exploration of self-expression in young students, according to PTA President Amy Berry.
Parents, families, and teachers are invited to attend the event, and the original paintings, which have been matted and framed gallery-style, will be available for sale at the show. There will also be performances by the Blanton Elementary Squire Choir.
Blanton Elementary School is located at 9501 Stacee Lane in Lantana.
