Sponsors, donations and golfers are needed to participate in a charity golf tournament this March that will raise money to provide scholarships for children of U.S. military servicemembers who were killed in action.
A Lantana-based non-profit organization is organizing the inaugural KIA Scholarships Golf Classic on Monday, March 29, at Bridlewood Golf Club in Flower Mound.
The four-person scramble tournament will kick-off at 1:30pm with a chance to play 18-holes of golf with local celebrities.
A post-tournament awards dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles, and numerous contests, including putting and chipping, longest drive and closest-to-the-pin, is also planned. The cost is $150 per golfer or $600 per foursome.
